Workshop Description

For larger groups or private bookings, we would be happy to assist you — please contact us directly for arrangements. ---------- In this workshop, you’ll work on professionally pre-shaped glass ring bases and focus on colour layering, surface decoration, and artistic detailing. This course is perfect for first-time participants who want to experience lampworking while creating a polished and wearable piece. What’s Included - 3 pre-made clear glass ring bases per participant - A wide selection of colourful glass rods - Unlimited access to studio materials during the session - Professional tools and guidance throughout Additional ring bases are available during the session. What You Will Learn - Safe handling and melting of glass rods - Decorative techniques (dot work, layering, surface shaping) - Colour blending and visual balance - Basic control of flame and tools Schedule 15 mins – Safety briefing & demonstration 60 mins – Ring decorating session Cooling and packaging time (approx. 15 minutes) is not included in the workshop duration. Safety & Participation Policy - For safety reasons, we do not accept children under the age of 12. - Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. - Due to potential and unknown safety risks, pregnant participants cannot be accommodated. Clothing: For your safety while working with hot glass, please wear full shoes, not sandals or open toes for this activity. We will provide apron during workshop, it would be helpful to wear old clothes or natural fibre clothes (such as cotton or wool).
